Uniting a New Company Under One Roof

For eHouse, this was more than just an offsite; it was a foundational moment. Following the merger of several companies, they needed to bring 79 team members together for the first time to foster a single, unified culture. The goal was to create an environment where everyone could meet, connect, and align under one exciting new company.

Offsite selected the Eden Roc Miami Beach, a venue renowned for its incredible service and amenities. With four pools and a prime location right on the beach, it provided the perfect upscale backdrop for both productive sessions and much-needed relaxation. The event kicked off with the leadership team arriving for early meetings, followed by the rest of the team that afternoon. The first evening culminated in a welcome dinner at Ocean Social, a beautiful restaurant overlooking the water that was privatized for the group.

Balancing Strategy, Sun, and Connection

The agenda for the single full day was thoughtfully designed to blend productivity with authentic connection. The morning began with a serene, attendee-led yoga class on the beach at sunrise. After breakfast, the team gathered for an awards ceremony and a welcome message from their leader, Tony, before diving into a team-building activity focused on clarity and OKRs.

The afternoon was dedicated to "Fun in the Sun," an unstructured beach day where team members could relax and connect organically. While organized games were available, the team truly valued the simple opportunity to lounge, talk, and enjoy drinks together by the ocean. That evening, the group was shuttled to Aba Miami, a Mediterranean restaurant where they enjoyed dinner on a private patio. The food and atmosphere were a massive hit, with many attendees calling it a highlight of the trip.

The Power of a Flawless Experience

The success of a first-time offsite is critical, and the positive feedback was immediate and impactful. The new CEO, initially skeptical, was completely won over, thanking the Offsite team repeatedly for the seamless execution. He was so impressed that he personally messaged one of Offsite’s investors to share how great the experience was.

This successful retreat not only achieved its primary goal of uniting a newly merged company but also built a strong foundation for a future partnership. With eHouse anticipating more growth, the door is open for future collaborations, proving that a well-executed offsite can turn even skeptics into true believers.

"Offsite curated a retreat for Dynamic that went beyond just meetings. It became a collection of shared memories. From cocktail hours in the director’s lounge to dinners under the stars on the Casitas Terrace, every moment felt intentional and personalized."

"Offsite came highly recommended for their ability to stay calm under pressure, adapt quickly to changes, and manage both the big picture and small details without missing a beat. From shifting logistics to last-minute updates on the microsite, Offsite remained patient, responsive, and highly organized throughout the process."

"When the Movement Voter Project planned their very first event in Atlanta, they turned to Offsite for help—and it turned out to be exactly what they needed. With a complicated schedule and a group of attendees who had very specific needs, including many with dietary restrictions and a strong preference for LGBTQ-friendly and Black-owned venues, Offsite stepped in to handle it all."
